Dr. Mervin P. Smolinsky, Ph.D.

Dr. Mervin P. Smolinksy of Moravian Village, Bethlehem, died on Sunday, June 17, 2018. A Ph.D. psychologist, Dr. Smolinsky worked at Allentown State Hospital and retired from there after 35 years of service. Additionally, he was an adjunct professor at Lehigh University. Dr. Smolinsky was married to his wife, Giz, for 58 years. They worked together at the state hospital and in private practice.

Services have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home and will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Moravian Village.
