Dr. Robert John Trotta, 67, of Bethlehem passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 28, 1956, and was the son of the late Cono and Philomena (Neopolitan) Trotta. A brilliant man, Dr. Trotta pursued his love for science and humanity at New York University, where he earned his MD and PHD, and honed the skills that would define his career. After completing his studies, he dedicated many years of service to Doylestown Hospital. His commitment was to the field of Pathology from 1987 until he retired in 2015.
Beyond the hospital, Dr. Trotta nurtured a deep love for every genre of music. He played the French Horn with the Doctor's Orchestra in Manhattan for many years. His musical talent was more than a hobby; it was a vital part of who he was, a testament to his belief in the beauty and healing power of the arts. Anyone that knew Dr. Trotta, knew his deep affection for his three schnauzers, Missy, Max, and Molly.
