Earl J. Marks, Jr.

Earl J. Marks, Jr.,84, of Bethlehem, died Friday, January 8, 2016. He was born September 23, 1931 in Fountain Hill; son of the late Amelia (Klausser) and Earl J. Marks, Sr. Earl will be missed by his loving wife, Dolores (Vargo) Marks, with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage.

After graduating high school, Earl joined the Unites States Air Force. After being honorably discharged, he worked at the Bethlehem Steel Co. for 30 years. He loved crossword puzzles, being outside and spending time with his family.

Earl will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Dolores (Vargo); sons Earl J. Marks III and his wife Sherri of Jacksonville, FL and Robert J. Marks and his wife Allison of Bethlehem; granddaughter Alicia and sister, Shirley Pooley.

A service will be held on Saturday January 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
