Edith Esther Gyecsek

Edith Esther Gyecsek, 86 of Bethlehem died Monday morning at Phoebe Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Allentown,

Edith was the wife, of 63 years, to the late Andrew J. Gyecsek, who died this past January,

Born in Bath, Pa she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ruth George Silvius

Edith worked in the clothing industry as a seamstress and sewing machine operator most of her working career primarily working at the former Muriel Dress Co. in Bethlehem and later at Jodi Fashion in Newberg Pa.

She had been a long time member of Trinity U.C.C. Church in Bethlehem.

Edith enjoyed working with crafts, the bingo and the music at Phoebe.

She will be dearly missed by her son Ronald and his wife Sharon of Nazareth, PA, her daughter Cynthia Heil of Chalfont, PA., her brother Paul of Bath, PA, her sisters Anna Stoeffer and Mary Flyte both of Wind Gap, PA , her grandchildren: Stacey, Mallory and Melissa and her great grandchildren: Kristen, Stephen and Amelia.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the Connell Funeral Home 245 East Broad Street Bethlehem, PA with Rev. Maria Spada officiating.

Friends may call on Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Interment will be in Hope / Hecktown Cemetery in Hecktown, PA
