Edmund R. Butch, Jr., 69, passed away on October 6, 2016, while vacationing in St. Maarten with his wife. He was the husband of Sandra L. Butch, they were married 38 years. He was born in Washington, DC, on July 5, 1947; son of the late Mildred (Kiich) and Edmund R. Butch, Sr. He last worked at Knopf Automotive as the Porsche Service Manager from 2005 to 2012. Prior to that he was in the PA National Guard, retiring in 2001 from Ft. Indiantown Gap with the rank of Lt. Col. In 1966, Mr. Butch enlisted in the US Army serving 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. Upon returning from the war, he continued his education attending East Stroudsburg and Moravian Colleges. Ed was an adoring husband, father and grandfather; he loved his cats and had a passion for automobiles.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sandra, step-daughter, Kristina Donchez, grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Matthew, and Jack Donchez; and a brother, Dr. Rodney J. Butch and wife, Frances. He was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth R. Butch.
Service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Arlington National Cemetery.
