Edna C. Traupman, 86, of Bethlehem, died peacefully on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem, with her devoted husband, Rudolph F. Traupman by her side. They shared their 66th wedding anniversary on February 16th of this year. Born November 12, 1925 in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Carl and Catherine Halbriner. Edna was a Liberty High School graduate and a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Edna dedicated her life to her family and will be dearly missed by her husband, Rudolph; sons, Dale Traupman and wife Georgia of Lehighton and Jeffrey Traupman and wife Barbara of Carmel, Indiana; sister, Eleanor McGinnis and her husband James of Mount Penn, PA; her brother-in-law, John Traupman of Allentown; four grandchildren, Jessica Shelbaugh and Rebecca Beck of Naples, FL; Gregory Traupman of Carmel, IN and Lauren Traupman of New York, NY and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Carl Halbriner and her sister, Ida Frey.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Connell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 24, 2012 from 10:30-11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Edna's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
