Edna Marion Remaley

Edna Marion Remaley, 85, of Hanover Twp., died on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at her residence. She was born March 18, 1928 in Mountain Top, PA; daughter of the late William Oscar and Charlotte Veneta (Weaver) Kisthart. Edna was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth R. Remaley in 2001.

Edna was devoted to her family. When not tending to their needs, she worked alongside her husband as a bookkeeper for the family business, Remaleys Service Center in Bethlehem.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Donna and her husband Barry Kilpatrick of Hanover Twp. and her grandson, Christopher Bragg and his wife, Lisa Green of Breinigsville as well as her sister, Carol Broscious. Edna was predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Kolsar and her brothers, Berle, Jack and William.

She will be remembered for her independence, her sincere and kind spirit, sense of humor, willingness to help a neighbor and her enjoyment of art.

A visitation will be held at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem PA 18018 from 10-11 AM on Monday, August 5, 2013 with a ceremony to immediately follow. Interment will be held at Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Arcadia Hospice 7248 Tilghman St. Suite 160 Allentown, PA 18106.
