Edward B. Kleppinger, Jr.

Edward Bernard Kleppinger, Jr., 80, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017. He was born on January 10, 1937 in Bethlehem, PA. Ed proudly served in the United States Navy and spent his career in telecommunications, most notably as Regional Director for Northern Telecom. Ed was an active member at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Jonesboro, GA for 50 years. He was also active in the Knights of Columbus and served as Grand Knight from 2004-2006.

Ed is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rose Marie, his sons, Edward (wife, Devy) and Michael, five grandchildren and extended family.

A graveside ceremony will be held 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Those wishing to attend should meet at the entrance to Holy Saviour cemetery. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on April 12th in Jonesboro, GA.
