Edward J. Crocus

Edward J. Crocus, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, October 07, 2018. He was the devoted husband of 68 years to the late Helen (Press) Crocus.

Edward served in the US Navy during WWII. He was an honorary member of the Nam Knights. Edward was a parishioner of St. Annes Catholic Church and formerly a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church where he was a member of the pierogi team. He was very proud of his Polish heritage. Edward was very active in the coordination of Pulaski Day in Bethlehem and he was a member of the Polish American Citizen Club in Allentown.

Edward will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Gary E. (Wendy) of Wheaton, IL; Jeffrey J. of Bethlehem; daughter, Jacqueline M. Saylor (Barry) of Allen Twp.; grandchildren, G. Ryan, Anne, Beth, Mark, and Courtney; great-grandchildren, Gianna, Molly, Abby, Gracie, Jackson, and Alexandra.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels of Northampton County, 4240 Fritch Dr., Bethlehem, PA 18020.
