Edward James Hartigan

Edward James Hartigan, 64, of Bethlehem passed away on Friday February 12, 2016 at St. Lukes Hospice House. He was born on July 9, 1951 in Bethlehem son of the late James and Irma (Pfau) Hartigan of Bethlehem. He was the husband of Kathleen (Csrenko) Hartigan. They would have celebrated 29 years of marriage on February 19th. Edward was a social studies teacher at the Strayer Middle School in Quakertown, Pa. He was a member of Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church in Bethlehem where he served as a lector.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Kathleen, mother, Irma Hartigan, his pet bird, Sparky, brother, Lawrence Hartigan of Bethlehem, sisters, Patricia Morganelli of Northampton, and Loretta Hartigan of Bethlehem, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, and 1 great niece.

A viewing will be held from 6pm-8pm Tuesday February 16th,2016 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. and from 9am-11am on Wednesday February 17th, 2016 at Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church 730 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. followed by A Mass of Christian Burial 11am at Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church.
