Edward R. Kropinicki

Edward R. Kropinicki, 95, of Nazareth, passed away on January 15, 2022, at Moravian Hall Square. Born on March 31, 1926, in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Rosalia (Bak) and Alexander Kropinicki.

Edward graduated from Liberty High School; he then went on to serve in the United States Navy. After serving, he attended and graduated from East Stroudsburg University and earned his masters degree in history from Lehigh University. He was a teacher in the Bethlehem Area School District for many years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Kropinicki; brother, Alex Kropinicki; and sister, Helen Bosak.

He will be dearly missed by his two daughters, Karen (Craig) Collins and Kathleen (Michael) Grube; brother, Chester Kropinicki; sister, Eleanore Stinner; three grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan, and Adam; and five great-grandchildren, Frederick, Kathleen, Paige, Boston, and Bryce.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Another viewing will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 E Washington Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18017 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Cross, 696 Johnson Rd., Nazareth, PA 18064.
