Edward R. Supon, 90, of Bethlehem,

died on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Saucon Valley Manor in Hellertown.

Born July 25, 1915 in Nanticoke, PA, he was the son of the late

Anton and Frances Supon

Edward was predeceased by his wife Nellie C. Povalitis Supon on April 28, 2005.

He retired as a craneman from the Bethlehem Steel Co. after many years of service. He formerly worked as a coal miner in Wilkes Barre.

An avid hunter and fisherman, he belonged to the Steel City Gun Club and the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Janet T. Supon of Sewell, N.J. and Eleanor, wife of Eugene Berg of Bethlehem, and 2 sons, Robert T. Supon and his wife Patricia and Edward J. Supon and his wife Cheryl both of Bethlehem,.

He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 12:00 noon,

A calling hour will precede the services.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem, PA
