Edward S. Kuss

Edward S. Kuss, 82, of Lower Saucon Twp. died on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Moravian Village of Bethlehem.

He was born August 2, 1929 in Bethlehem; son of the late Steven and Elizabeth (Harakal) Kuss.

Edward is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Lina Frances (Fehnel) Kuss.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a Corporal during the Korean War.

Edward retired from the Bethlehem Steel after 40 years of service. He worked as a Customer Service Coordinator in Forgings, Castings and Special Products.

Edward was a parishioner of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Bethlehem.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife; daughters, Cynthia and her husband Albert Kravatz of Media, PA; Kathy Elizabeth and her husband Milan Ozdinec of Crofton, MD and Susan M. and her husband Joseph Long III of Bethlehem as well as his brother, Stephen and his wife Fanci of Cape Coral, FL; his brother-in-law Robert Erney of Houston TX and his nieces and nephews. Edward was especially proud of his seven grandchildren, Zachary Kravatz and his wife Jenna; Jelsy Kravatz; Elizabeth, Emily and Olivia Ozdinec; and Jessica and Amanda Long.

Edward was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Erney.



The family will receive friends on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 7-9 PM at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.

Another viewing will be held on Saturday from 9-9:45 AM at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18015 with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 AM.

Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
