Edward V. Zablocki

Edward V. Zablocki, 86, of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, September 06, 2012 at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. Born in West Hazleton, he was the son of the late Peter and Julia (Taluskie) Zablocki.

Ed was the branch manager at Lehigh Valley Bank, retiring in 1986. He was veteran of the Army, serving in the Pacific Theater during WWII. He was a member of the Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church and a life member of the Jefferson Democratic Club.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Edward and wife, Ann of Macungie and John and wife, Margo of Florida; daughter, Patti Affa and husband, Eric of Whitehall; grandchildren, Marc Janotka, Janell Collon and Tyler Affa; and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Peter; and sister, Pearl Kotarra.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, where a visitation will be held on Monday September 10th from 10 to 11 a.m. An 11 a.m. funeral service will follow, in the funeral home. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Manor, 1200 Spring St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.
