Edward William Brazee

Edward William Brazee, 70, of Bethlehem died on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 with his family by his side. He was born May 6, 1944 in Jersey City, NJ, the son of the late Edward and Mildred (Meckert) Brazee. Edward was the loving husband to Danua (B&uacutezikov) Brazee. They celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary this past February.

Edward earned a Bachelors Degree from Farleigh Dickenson University and a Masters Degree from Montclair State University. He taught social studies at Roxbury High School in Roxbury Township, NJ and operated a small upholstery business in Bethlehem. After retiring, he was a substitute teacher at Bethlehem Catholic High School where he also volunteered to coach the chess team. He was a member of the American Legion Color Guard, The Bethlehem Palette Club, and St. Annes Catholic Church. He was an avid painter who loved reading, history and traveling. Edward served his country during the Vietnam War.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Danu daughter, Michele, son, Christopher; and sisters, Dorean Braida and Karen, wife of Andy Martnick.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 12 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Visitation will be from 10 to 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 1700 Airport Rd., Allentown, PA 18103.
