Edwin V. Strohl

Edwin V. Strohl, 92, of Macungie entered into eternal peace Friday, August 25, 2017 at Lehigh Center surrounded by his loved ones. Edwin was the loving husband of Consuelo (Guerra) Strohl for 69 years. Edwin is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alice Thomas.

Edwin retired from the U.S. Postal Service as Postmaster of Hellertown. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, past member of The Hellertown Lions, American Legion and Cathedral Church Historical Society.

Survivors: Wife, Consuelo; Children, Barbara Solito, (Tony) of Bethlehem, Pamela Calabrese of Macungie and Bruce Strohl, (Ellie) of NC; Grandchildren, Christine, Stephanie, Ryan, and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Blaise and Garrett; and his brother, William Strohl. Edwin was predeceased by a sister, Beatrice Eckert.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at The Cathedral Church of Nativity. Call 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Cathedral Church of the Nativity, 321 Wyandotte St., Bethlehem, PA 18015.
