Eleanor A. Braxmeier

Eleanor A. Braxmeier, 82, of Bethlehem, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018; she was surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Mary (Vurosics) Antolic and wife of the late Philip M. Braxmeier; they were married for 47 years. Before retiring, Eleanor worked for St. Lukes Hospital as an Administrative Assistant. She was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church and an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Ellie Neveling and husband, Wayne, Philip M. Jr. and wife, Tracey, Cathy Madison and husband, Ron, all of Bethlehem, and Karen Aulisio and husband, Cliff of Moore Twp; grandchildren: Matthew Neveling, Lauren Neveling Rouleau, Colin and Carson Braxmeier, Julia, Victoria, Alexandra and Eric Madison, and Anthony and Ava Aulisio; and great grandchildren: Jace, Tyler and Cole.

Viewing hours will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Monday, Jan 22, from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. A 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at Holy Ghost Church, 417 Carlton Ave., Bethlehem. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
