Eleanor A. Trunzo

Eleanor A. Trunzo, 81, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. She was born February, 3, 1933 in Scranton, PA; daughter of the late Adam and Millie (DeNaples) Gallone. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony. As matriarch of the family, Eleanor was President of A.J. Trunzo, Inc. She dedicated her life to her family and her faith. Eleanor was a parishioner of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church. She was a long time member of the Serra Club of Bethlehem and was a devoted volunteer at Holy Family Manor.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Paul A. and his wife Deborah of Wind Gap; Steven J. and his fianc, Donna of Bethlehem and Anthony S. and his wife, Meg of Bath and her brother John Gallone of Scranton. Eleanor was also predeceased by a sister, Virginia. Eleanor loved her eight grandchildren and great grandson more than anything in the world and was very proud of them.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 6-8 PM and again on Saturday from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 PM on Saturday at Notre Dame of Bethlehem 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church and/or to the Barnabite Fathers 4301 Hecktown Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18020.
