Eleanor D. Kennedy

Eleanor D. Kennedy, 94, of Bethlehem passed away on Tuesday December 24, 2013 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem. She was born on February 22, 1919 in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Joseph Piekutoski and Sophia (Kwilman) Piekutoski. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Kennedy.

Eleanor worked as a cashier for the Food Fair Pantry Pride. She was of the Catholic Faith and also volunteered for the Red Cross.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Dennis T. Kennedy and wife Cathy of Upper Black Eddy, Pa., and Dale P. Kennedy of North Wildwood, NJ, grandchildren, Colleen Wladyslawski, and Patricia Butler, and great grandchildren, Luke and Molly Wladyslawski, and Victoria, Joseph and Gregory Butler.

She was predeceased by a brother, Edmund and sisters, Josephine Behnke, and Wanda Exline.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:30pm Friday December 27, 2013 at the Holy Family Chapel 1200 Spring St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018. A calling hour will be from 11:30-12:30pm at the Chapel. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sanctuary Memorial Fund at Holy Family Manor 1200 Spring St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018.
