Eleanor J. Chickey

Ellie Chickey, 76, of Bethlehem, died peacefully at home on Sunday, July 27, 2014. Born in Alpha, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Aldo and Marvina (Ferretti) Tarsi. She was the loving wife of Stanley J. Chickey; they were married 33 years.

Ellie graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.S. in Nursing. She worked as an R.N. employed by Warren Hospital, N.J., for almost 50 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Stan; sons, Frank and Kyle; daughters, Karen and Elyse; and her 14 grandchildren.

A 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, in the O.L.P.H. Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, 18020. Call in the church from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Eleanors name to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 S 12th St # 101, Allentown, PA 18103.
