Eleanor Jean Beahm

Eleanor Jean Beahm,79, of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Theresa (Borda) and Julius Kovach. Jean was the loving wife of Sylvanus “Sonny” Beahm.

She served her country as a member of the United States Air Force. Jean was a very giving person, who loved people. She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. She loved spending time with her family, her fur baby, Coco and her best friend of over 30 years, Bonnie Schantz.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 30 years, Sonny; children, Brian McBride, husband of Kathie, Brent McBride, husband of Joy, Sherri, wife of Stuart Culvert, Wayne Beahm, husband of Nancy, Alan Beahm, husband of Sandra and Caroline, wife of Joe Pietkiewicz; brothers Theodore Kovach and Brent Kovach, husband of Gloria; sisters, Shirley, wife of Jack Schulz and Gail, wife of August Di Salvio; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son John McBride, Jr. and grandson, John McBride, III.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. and also on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. with a funeral service to begin at 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.
