Eleanor K. Horoschock

Eleanor K. Horoschock, 86, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 15, 2017. Known as Baba, she was lovingly surrounded by all her children and grandchildren. Born in Centralia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sarah (Masinick) Kasenych and wife of the late Vincent Horoschock.

Eleanor was employed by AT&T where she worked as a Layout Operator for over 40 years until retiring. She was a devout parishioner of St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Vincent Horoschock Jr. & wife, Deborah; daughters, Mary Lorady & husband, Michael, Carol Croll & husband, Glen and Rose Costello; grandchildren, Michael, Melissa, Vanessa, Zachary, Ashley, Cory and Christopher; great granddaughters, Sophia and Liliana; brother, John “Jay” Kasenych; and sisters, Julia Kriesher and Irene Shemonski.

Viewing hours will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Tuesday, September 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. with Parastas at 7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. A 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Wednesday at St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Byzantine Rite, 1836 Kenmore Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be at St. Josaphats Cemetery in Lower Saucon Township.
