Eleanor M. Berg

Eleanor M. Berg, 83, of Bethlehem passed away on Saturday March 11, 2017 at Westminster Village in Allentown, Pa. She was born in Swoyersville, Pa., daughter of the late Edward and Nellie( Povailitis) Supon. She was the wife of Eugene P. Berg, Sr. They were married for 55 years in August this past year. Eleanor worked for Bell Telephone Co., and was a day care supervisor for the Bethlehem Area School District. She was a charter member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Eleanor graduated from Northampton Community College.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Eugene, son Eugene P. Berg, Jr. of Palmerton, daughters, Anne Kyle of Ellicott City, Md., and Barbara Bingener and husband Ken of Barto, Pa., brothers, Edward Supon and Robert Supon, sister, Janet Supon and grandchildren, Lauren, Gabrielle, and Acadia.

Prayer services will be held 10:15am Friday March 17, 2017 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, Pa. 18020. A viewing will be held 7-9pm Thursday evening and 9:15-10:15am Friday morning at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association Lehigh Valley 617A Main St. Hellertown, Pa. 18055 or to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
