Elisa Costa Jacinto

Elisa Costa Jacinto, 89, of Bethlehem died on Friday, January 21, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT.

She was born in Espinheiro, Portugal; the daughter of the late Agostinho DaCosta and Maria Da Natividade Janelas.

Elisa was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Luis Jacinto.

She worked as a Seamstress for A.G. Baba Sports Wear.

Elisa was a parishioner of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Antonio J. of Bethlehem; Luis J. of Cumberland, RI; Manuel J. of Bethlehem and Amadeu J. in Portugal; daughters, Adelaide Conceicao Santos of Bethlehem, Maria Helena Silva of Portugal and Maria Isabel J. DeCosta of Waterbury, CT. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Elisa was preceded in death by her son, Carlos Alberto Jacinto.

Elisa's family will receive friends on Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 8-9:15 AM at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 10 AM at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, PA 18015.

Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
