Elizabeth Ann Brockway

Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Martens Brockway, 74 , of Bethlehem, passed peacefully at the VNA , St. Luke's Hospice House, on Friday, September 25, 2009, Bethlehem.

Betty was born in New York City, New York and was the daughter of the late Randolph Murray and Cecelia O'Neill Martens. Betty was the third child of six children: Ginger, June, William, Susan and Jan. She was a devoted loving mother and grandmother, treasured friend and sister. It is with immense love we say good bye and thank you for sharing your life with us.

Betty was employed at the former Laneco in Bethlehem retiring in 2001 after 21 years of service. She was a graduate of Regis College with a B.A. Betty was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Bethlehem Township.

Betty will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Marie Brockway of Bethlehem, Pa., Son-Matt Brockway of Richmond, Calif. and Son-Gregory Brockway and his wife Gina of Bethlehem, Pa., granddaughter Lili Brockway, Brother-Bill Martens of Monmouth Beach, N.J., Sisters-Ginger Purcell of Ramsey, N.J., Jan Vecsi of Allendale, N.J.and Susan Jennings of Glens Falls, N.Y.,

Betty is predeceased by her parents and a sister June Schrieber.
