Elizabeth Ann Hazler

September 4, 1949 — January 28, 2019

Elizabeth Ann Hazler, 69, died peacefully in her sleep, on January 28, 2019, at St. Luke's Hospice House in Bethlehem following a courageous battle with leukemia. She was born in Bethlehem, PA to the late Anthony J. and Elizabeth A. (Lawrence) Hazler and was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, formerly SS. Cyril and Methodius Church in Bethlehem.

She was a graduate of the former St. Francis Academy and received her degree in Health Information Management from Stephens College in Columbia, MO. She worked in Medical Records at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown PA for over thirty years and in recent years as Director of the Department. She spent her free time shopping, spending time with family especially with Reagan and Parker and

sharing her creative art skills with family and friends.

Elizabeth is survived by brother, Fr. George Hazler of Troy, MI; sister Mary Ann Bednar and husband Steve of Bethlehem; nephews Daniel of Dallas, TX; David and wife Jamie of Bethlehem Township; grand niece Reagan Bednar and grand nephew Parker Bednar; companion James Zondlo of Center Valley, PA; and close friend and caregiver Marie Silfies of Emmaus, PA.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Incarnation of Our Lord Church, 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, followed by a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Please offer condolences online at www.connellfuneral.com.
