Elizabeth "Betty" Pumberger

Elizabeth M. Pumberger, 95, of Bethlehem died Sunday, October 30, 2016. She was born in Bethlehem, daughter of Helen (Palencar) and Philip Jancosko. She was the loving wife of the late Geza J. Pumberger, who passed away in 1998. They were married 57 years.

Betty was a lifelong member of the former Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, now Incarnation of Our Lord Church. She enjoyed crocheting and baking. Above all, Betty loved being with her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Jane Fisher-Sabler and her husband, Nicholas, Rita Capuano and Helen Hetrick; sister, Catherine Keller; grandchildren, Donald Fisher, Daniel Hetrick (Linda), Donna Hersh (John), Christina Perose (Roger) and Diane Tronosky (Dennis, Sr.) and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joe and sisters, Mary, Helen, Margaret, Irene, Tillie, and Anna.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 9:30-10:30 a.m at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Incarnation of Our Lord Church, 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, PA 18015 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
