Elizabeth "Betty" Wasilick

Elizabeth “Betty” Wasilick, 88, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday September 24, 2017 at the Tidewell Ellenton Hospice House in Palmetto Florida. She was born on January 7, 1929 in Heckscherville, Pa to John and Mary (Honyara) Skubenich. She was the wife of the late John M. Waslilick. Betty attended Liberty High School and worked for Holtz & Co. Bethlehem. She enjoyed being a wife, mother, homemaker and faithful member of SS Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church. She moved to Heron East Assisted Living in Sarasota, Fl in 2013, where she actively participated in Arts & Crafts, Bacci Ball, and her favorite pastime, Bingo.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son Michael (Missy) Wasilick, grandchildren Lauren & Andrew of Raleigh, NC, daughter Mary (Cusic) Daniels of Sarasota, Fl, and granddaughter, Caitlin of Atlanta, GA. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

A viewing will be held from 8:15-9:15am Saturday October 7, 2017, at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E.Broad St. Bethlehem, PA followed by an Office of Christian Burial at 10am at SS Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church 1140 Johnston Dr. Bethlehem, PA 18017. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SS Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church.
