Elizabeth "Betty" Zapotocki

Elizabeth “Betty” Zapotocki, 84, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Sunday, May 14, 2017. She was born on the family farm in Whitney Point, NY, the daughter of Elizabeth (Kaminsky) and John Aleba. Betty was the loving wife of the late Stanley J. Zapotocki.

Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Family always came first. She was known to many outside of the family as Mom Zap. She loved nature, animals and children. Betty was kind, generous and patient and died as she lived, in her own way.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Liz Zapotocki of Hummelstown, Stanley Zapotocki, II and his wife Nancy of Hellertown, Kathie Zapotocki and her husband Timothy Reilly of Zionsville and Nancy Zapotocki and her husband Matt Graves of Shepherdstown, WV; grandchildren, Beth, Jennifer, Becky and Michele; great grandchildren, Liam, Oliver and Liza and grand pets, Franco, Miley, Lexi, Miss Ellie, Louie, Jack and Charlie. She was preceded in death by her 7 brothers.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Graveside service will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
