Elizabeth C. Kovacs

Elizabeth C. Kovacs, 65, of Bethlehem passed away Sunday June 9, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital-Anderson Campus. She was born on November 19, 1947 in Allentown, daughter of the late Frances Mess. She was the wife of Louis "Smokey" Kovacs. They were married for 16 years this past October.

Elizabeth worked as an x-ray receptionist at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown for 47 years. She had a passion for shopping and going to yard sales through-out the Lehigh Valley.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Louis "Smokey" Kovacs, step-son, Jeffrey Kovacs of Canada, step-daughter, Mary Patrick wife of Mark of Dallas Lake, Texas, brothers, Michael Messinger of Arizona, and Raymond Mess, of Bethlehem, sister, Bernadette Kline of Allentown, sister-in-law, Leona Coffin wife of Barry of Bethlehem, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 8:30am Friday June 14, 2013 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 7-8:30pm and Friday morning from 7:30-8:30am at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
