Elizabeth Coken

Elizabeth M. Coken, 98, of Bethlehem, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland, the daughter of the late Williammina (Young) and Robert McCoach. She was the loving wife for 70 years of the late John J. Coken.

Elizabeth was a member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. For many years, she worked with her husband at their family store, McCandless Food Store. She was an avid reader and a longtime member of the Kings Daughters of Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son John R. Coken; Brother Bill McCoach; sister, Mary Cunningham; grandchildren, Leanne Feather, Lynelle Masser and Scott Bronstein and 3 great grandchildren. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline Bronstein and brother, Robert McCoach.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 6-7 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, 321 Wyandotte St. Bethlehem, PA 18015.
