Elizabeth J. Onyskiw

Elizabeth J. Onyskiw, 84, of Bethlehem, PA died Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the St. Lukes Hospice House in Lower Saucon Township. Born December 11, 1932 in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Helen and Emil “Jack” Seifert. She was married to Lawrence M. Onyskiw, Sr. for 43 years until his death on July 19, 1997.

Elizabeth worked and retired as a clerk for Nazareth National Bank. After retirement she worked for Seniors Helping Seniors and also would help others independently. She was a member of St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bethlehem. Elizabeth enjoyed gardening and painting ceramics.



She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Lawrence Onyskiw, Jr. and wife Brenda, daughters, Denise and Christine Onyskiw and three grandchildren, Sean, Jillian and Kyle.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 8:30-9:30 AM followed by an Office of Christian Burial at St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1836 Kenmore Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18018 at 10 AM.
