Elizabeth J. Rippert

Elizabeth J. (Medei) Rippert of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on August 26, 2014, in her home. Born in Steel City on July 24, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Anapo and Mary Medei. Her husband, Stephen J. Rippert, passed away in 1983.

She was a member of St. Annes Catholic Church. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed antiquing at Renningers Antique Market and was a big fan of the New York Yankees.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Timothy J. Rippert; granddaughter, Jennifer; brother, Gene Medei; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Matthew, James, John and Anthony Medei; and sisters, Margaret Dominick and Anna Ferencin.

Services: Friday, Aug. 29, at 12 p.m. in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Call from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to, Compassionate Care Hospice, 363 South Route 100, Allentown, PA 18106.
