Elizabeth M. Fodi

Elizabeth Margaret Fodi, 91, of Bethlehem died on Friday, December 28, 2007 at Saucon Valley Manor.

She was born and raised in Hellertown, the daughter of the late John and Rose Scheck Fodi.

Elizabeth served in the Womans Marine Corp during World War II as a secretary at Parris Island.

She retired from the Bethlehem Steel Company after 35 years as an Executive Assistant.

Elizabeth was a parishoner of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Bethlehem, where she was a member of the Senior's Club.

She was also a member of The Bethlehem YMCA where she enjoyed exercising.

Elizabeth is survived by her Nephew John Friedman husband of Carole of Palm Harbor, FL; niece Jean Friedman wife of Bernard Dauenhauer of Watkinsville, GA; great niece Beth Bostas and family; great nephew Douglas Friedman and family and cousins in the Kerner family of Pennsylvania and Georgia.

She was predeceased by her sister Anna Friedman and her half sisters Martha and Frances Fodi.

A vistiation will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem on Thursday January 10, 2008 from 6-8PM and again on Friday morning January 11, 2008 from 8:30-9:30AM in the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM in Holy Ghost Catholic Church 417 Carlton Ave. Bethlehem PA 18015.

Burial will be at Holy Ghost Cemetery, Bethlehem.
