Elizabeth T. Pepas

Elizabeth T. Pepas, 85, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, April 09, 2013 at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. She was born in Beaver Brook, PA the daughter of the late Stephen and Catherine (Michaels) Harris. She was the loving wife of the late, John S. Pepas. They were married 50 years before his death in 2002.

Elizabeth worked as a psychiatric aide in the Allentown Hospital. She was very active with the VFW Post 3094 and the past president of their women's auxiliary for many years. She also served as president of VFW District 20. She was a parishioner of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Gregory; daughters, Nancy Bartek and her husband, Dennis and Karen Petrill; brothers, Richard and Raymond Harris; six grandchildren, Megan, Laura, Tana, Kyle, Andy and Heather; and two great-grandchildren, Jonah and Zendeyah. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles, Joseph, Stephen, Robert, Edward and Frank.

Services: An Office of Christian Burial will be held, Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, 1140 Johnston Rd., Bethlehem, PA. Visitation will be Friday, from 7-9 p.m. and again on Saturday from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem.
