Ellen M. Reed

Ellen M. Reed, 75, of Bethlehem passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Born on May 16, 1949 in Somerville, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Thyra (Peollot) and Herbert Brown. She was the loving wife of Dennis W. Reed.

Ellen worked as a phlebotomist at Miller Keystone Blood Center where she cared for countless donors. She enjoyed being outside, camping, hiking, all things Disney and going to Iron Pigs games where she was a season ticket holder. Caring for and rescuing animals was her passion. Ellen made it her mission to rescue and nurture any animal in need, providing them with healthy and happy lives.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Dennis W. Reed; daughters, Candice Duong (Van) and Rebecca MoDavis (Richard); brothers, Dennis Brown of Marriotsville, MD and Herbert Brown of Selma, NC and grandchildren, Alyssa and Brayden Duong and Richard, Kaci and Tanner MoDavis.

Services will be held at a later date.
