Eloi Rodrigues

Eloi Rodrigues, 87, of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, March 02, 2017. Born in Cardial, Portugal on November 13, 1929; he was the son of the late Alexandre and Ana (DeJesus) Rodrigues. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Raquel (Fontoura) Rodrigues. Eloi was employed by the Bethlehem Steel where he worked in the CSL Department as a mason. He was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church and a retired member of the Portuguese Club.

He will lovingly remembered by his wife; his 10 children and their spouses; 21 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

Visitation will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St, Bethlehem, on Saturday, March 4, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E 4th St, Bethlehem. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Center for Vision Loss, 845 W. Wyoming St, Allentown, PA 18103.
