Elsa Maria Castro

Elsa Maria Castro, 93, of Bethlehem, PA died Saturday, August 21, 2021 at St. Lukes Hospice House in Bethlehem. Born in Havana, Cuba she was the daughter of the late Amalia (Carratala) and Eliseo Hernandez. She was married to the late Alberto Castro for 44 years.

Elsa worked as a school teacher in Cuba and later retired from Cordis, a branch of Johnson and Johnson. Elsa enjoyed knitting, reading and traveling with her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Alberto Castro and wife Iliana, grandsons, Alberto and Daniel Castro and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Eliseo Castro and 3 sisters.

Services are private.
