Elsie H. Jasso

Elsie H Chulik Jasso, 78 , of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 after a 32 year fight with cancer, at Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's in Bethlehem. She was born in Bethlehem and was the daughter of the late Paul and Julia Sedlok Chulik. Elsie was the wife of Andrew J. Jasso who died September 28, 2011 with whom she was married to for 55 years.

Elsie was an administrative assistant for Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges retiring in 1995 with 25 years of service. From the age of 14 Elsie professionally played piano for school and church and was a self taught organist. Elsie was also the organist and choir director for Trinity UCC in Bethlehem for many years. She was a volunteer at the Mulhenberg Thrift Shop and Special Olympics at Lehigh with her husband Andrew for many years. Elsie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she will be dearly missed.

Elsie will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Barbara Jasso and Kristy wife of James Dame; son Andrew Jasso; and grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Julia and Michael.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Holy Saviour Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
