Elsie W. Rayden

Elsie W. Wagner Rayden of Bethlehem, PA died Thursday, September 20, 2007 at St.Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem.

Born in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Cecilia Graf and Joseph Wagner.

Elsie was married to Lee A Rayden with whom she would have celebrated 18 years of marriage on November 24.

Elsie was a member of St. Peter?s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethlehem, where she sang in the Faith Choir. Elsie also volunteered to work the Bach Festival at St. Peter?s Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was involved with the Courier Staff. Elsie also helped make bed pads that were donated to the Phoebe Home in Allentown. She worked in the Bethlehem Steel as a Secretary for over 40 years and retiring in 1982.

Elsie is survived by her husband Lee A. Rayden of Bethlehem.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph and Robert Wagner and a sister, Emma Wagner.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday September 29, 2007 at St. Peter?s Evangelical Lutheran Church 474 Vine St. Bethlehem, PA 18015 at 10:30 AM. Arrangements entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, Inc.
