Elvira Mingora

Elvira Eva Mingora, 82, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Holy Family Manor. She was born November 2, 1930 in Bethlehem; daughter of the late Rudolph and Julia (Aguilar) Amelio. Vera was preceded in death by her husband Edward Mingora.

Vera worked as a floor lady for South Manufacturing. She was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Thomas Mingora and his wife, Marie of Bethlehem; brother, Robert R. Amelio; sisters, Julia Kuruc, Aurora Kundrik, and Angela Stralo; as well as her grandchildren, Nicholas and Lucas Panick and Christina and Matthew Mingora. Vera was preceded in death by her daughter Donna Mingora Panick and son-in-law, Robert Panick; brothers, Rudy and Arthur and her sisters, Sophie Gutierrez and Sara Alonzo.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 6-8 PM at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 and again on Thursday from 11 AM-12 PM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:30 PM on Thursday at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, PA 18015. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church and/or to Holy Family Manor 1200 Spring St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.
