Emma K. Peters

Emma K. Peters, 88, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2007 at VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's.

She was born in Lebanon, PA; the daughter of the late John and Julia Gomboz Keretz.

Emma was the wife of the late Joseph Peters who died in 1992, and George Altemus who died in 1944.

She was employed at the former Western Electric in allentown for 21 years, and a member of the Pioneers of Allentown.

Emma was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem and was active in the church Fellowship Club.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, George Altemus of Pittsburgh, PA and Raymond Altemus of Reno, NV; as well as two sisters Helen Stahler and Hilda Correll both of Bethlehem and six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

SERVICES

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem at 10AM. Family and friends may call from 9:15-9:45 AM in the church.

In lieu of Flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church
