Eric C. Gubich

Eric C. Gubich, 36, of Bethlehem passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 13, 1985, he was the son of Patricia (Kovacs) and Wayne E. Gubich. He was the loving husband of Kaitlyn M. (Cottell) Gubich and amazing father of Parker J. Gubich.

Eric graduated from East Stroudsburg University and went on to enjoy working at Samuel Adams Brewing as a brewer. He was a social member of the Hecktown Volunteer Fire Company. He loved to hunt, fish, snowboard, ride his dirt bike, enjoy nature, visit breweries and he was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. Cooking, especially using his smoker, for his family and friends brought Eric great joy. Eric was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend who will be missed dearly by those who loved him. Eric adored his son, Parker, and cherished every moment spent with him.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 8 years, Kaitlyn M. Gubich; son, Parker J. Gubich; parents, Patricia and Wayne Gubich; sisters, Janelle Gubich and her fianc, Jason Reyda and Caitlin Gubich and her husband, Matt Cockerell.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for Parker's college fund or to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Pediatric Department PO Box 50258 Hagerstown, MD 21740.
