Eric D. Dutt

Eric D. Dutt, 34, of Brooklyn, and formerly of Bethlehem, died suddenly on Thursday May 31, 2007. Born on October 25, 1972, in Bethlehem; he was the son of Leslie S. and Eleanor M. Morganello Dutt, both of Bethlehem. He was the loving husband of Kathryn Hammill, of Brooklyn. Eric and Kathryn began dating in 1995, and were married on November 20, 2004 in Mexico.

Eric had been a science educator in NYC since 1997. He was currently employed by the City of New York at P.S.6 on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Eric was an avid nature photographer and truly enjoyed being a ?Good Earthling?.www.lifecapturedintime.blogspot.com He graduated from Penn State University with a bachelors degree in education. He also achieved a Masters Degree in Environmental Science Education from Brooklyn College. Eric founded The Urban Naturalists, a summer science camp for 8-11 year old children in Manhattan.

Survivors: wife, Kathryn; parents, Les and Ellie; brothers, Scott and his wife Robin and their children, Nathaniel, Justin and Kaylen of State College, PA, and Todd and his girlfriend Jessica of Millbrook, N.Y.; father-in-law, Lawrence Hammill of Charlotte, N.C.; brother-in-law, Larry Hammill, Jr.; mother-in-law, Bethany McCurry and her husband Blaine of Marcy, N.Y.; sister-in-law, Dina Picano and her husband Steven and their daughter Kyla Grace of Long Island, N.Y.
