Ernest A. Preuss

Ernest A. Preuss, 79, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday September 12, 2010. Born in Cranford, NJ, he was the son of the late Frank and Marie Trouv Preuss. He is survived by his wife of 11 years Marion Jensen Preuss.

Ernest was a graduate of the Newark School of Engineering and received his Masters of Engineering degree from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ.

He worked as an electrical engineer and was most recently employed by Honeywell. He was also an amateur pilot who flew extensively along the East Coast from Nantucket Island in Massachusetts to the Bahamas off the coast of Florida.

Ernest will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marion; son, Scott Brantingson and wife Rose; daughter, Cathy Scharf and husband Gerald; brother, Richard Preuss; sisters, Margaret Talbott and Marie McGonegal; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by seven siblings.
