Ernest R. Stuard

Ernest R. Stuard, 69, of Bethlehem Twp. passed on Friday, June 27, 2014. He was born November 22, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA; son of the late George and Sarah (Boyle) Stuard. Ernest was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Maryann Stuard.

Ernest proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired as an International Manager in June of 1997 after 31 years of service for AT&T and was a member of the AT&T Pioneers. Ernest will be lovingly remembered by his sons, David G. Stuard and his wife Christine of Bethlehem Twp. and Michael J. Stuard and his wife, Yvette of Allentown; his grandson, Donovan and sisters, Mary Morris of Leesburg, FL and Barbara OConnor of Philadelphia. Ernest was predeceased by his brother, George Stuard.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Connell Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1817 First St. Bethlehem, PA 18020 from 10:15-11:15 AM on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow at 11:15 AM. Interment with military honors will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
