Esther A. Lukevics

Esther A. Kozar Lukevics, 83 , of Bethlehem, died on Monday, March 23, 2009 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem. Esther was born in Bethlehem and was the daughter of the late Stephen and Caroline Posicsnych Kozar and the widow of Mitchell W. Lukevics who died March 25, 1978.

Esther was the executive secretary for the County Executive of Northampton County for 16 years. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church.



Esther will be lovingly remembered by her son Mitchell S. Lukevics and wife Karen of Tampa, Fla., two grandchildren, Grandson-Matthew Lukevics and wife Maura of Norfolk VA, Granddaughter-Megan Lukevics of Tampa, FL and two great grandchildren-Matthew, Jr. and Audrey Lukevics.

Esther is predeceased by her parents, husband, and two sisters Irene Nicholas and Theresa Judd.

Friends may call at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, March 27, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 28, 2009 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Prayers will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne's Catholic Church on Saturday March 28, 2009 at 10:00 AM
