Eugene F. Bove

Eugene F. Bove, 86, of Bethlehem, passed away on August 24, 2016 at St. Lukes Hospice House. Born in Bethlehem on July 11, 1930, he was the son of the late Vincent and Josephine (Parenti) Bove. He was the loving husband of the late Dorothy A. Bove who died in 2011; they were married 37 years. Eugene was employed by the Bethlehem Steel. He was a lifelong member of St. Annes Catholic Church, Bethlehem, and an avid gardener.

Eugene is survived by two sisters, Rose Facchiano of Bethlehem, and Jennie wife of Tyson Marz of Florida; stepsons, Frank Bradford and Robert Bradford Jr.; sister-in-law, June Bove of Bethlehem; brother-in-law, Bobby (Robert) Bright; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by three brothers, Ralph, Anthony and Peter; three sisters, Grace Parenti, Anna Nelson and Marjorie Ortwein; and stepson, George Bradford.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem. An 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Contributions: by request of the family, please no flowers. Memorials may be made to St. Annes Catholic Church, St. Lukes Hospice or a charity of ones choice.
