Eugene J. Mcgorry

Eugene J. McGorry, 87, of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Westminster Village.

He was born July 9, 1921 in Jim Thorpe, PA the son of the late Robert V. and Alice Murray McGorry.

Eugene is survived by his loving wife, Jane Heller McGorry of Bethlehem.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII.

Eugene was the owner of Collins Insurance Agency which later became McGorry Associations.

He was a member of Ss Simon and Jude Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

Eugene will be lovingly remembered by his children, John E. McGorry husband of Charlotte C.; Kathleen McGorry-Lowe wife of the late Robert Lowe; Cletus R. McGorry and Thomas M. McGorry husband of Barbara L. all of Bethlehem as well as two granddaughters Caitlin and Shannon.

He was preceded in death by his sister Bernadette and brothers Robert and Cletus

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, Inc., Bethlehem

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 8, 2009 from 9-10 AM at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church 730 W. Broad St. Bethlehem with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow at 10AM.

Interment will be held at Nisky Hill Cemetery.
