Eugene R. Bajak, 82, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, September 28, 2015. Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Antoni and Helen (Bochniak) Bajak. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ulla (Andersson) Bajak. Gene was a devout Catholic and active parishioner of St. Annes Church, Bethlehem; and a founding member of their Mens Rosary Society. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Gene was a US Army Korean War Veteran and a member of the Catholic War Veterans.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Ulla; sons: Anthony (Dawn) of FL, Christopher (Joann) and Thomas (Christina) all of NJ; grandchildren: Blaise, Blaire, Anna, Alison and Andrew; and sister, Francesca of FL. He was predeceased by his brother, Walter.
Viewing hours will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Thursday, Oct. 1, from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Friday, Oct. 2, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A Rosary will be said at 10 a.m. in the funeral home on Friday, followed by a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Annes Church, 450 Washington Ave., Bethlehem.
